Well, talk about academic answers. Travis said the baby in Prometheus is the “recreation of this woman’s fears about having her own child, especially in light of her husband’s death.” That’s way better of a reason than I had. I just thought Prometheus had the most ridiculous baby situation. Shaw gives birth to this large, thrashing, confrontational squid thing. Talk about a recreation of fears and the worst possible scenario coming true. She really gave birth to a monster. And what’s the monster give birth too? Something way worse: the most predictable ending of 2012! But the most adorable predictable ending of 2012! *Who’s the cutest little baby alien!*
