Cinema Beans: Holy Motors
Yeah, the limo in Cosmopolis is pretty pimped-out (there’s a pimp in the damn thing), but Denis Levant’s limo in Holy Motors really offers too many goodies to ignore. I mean, as an actor who challenges himself, Levant needs access to all of his most essential tools: mirror, wigs, makeup, scripts, and a driver who knows the schedule. AND Levant gets his nut off along the way. Not in the limo, mind you, but it gets him there, just in time for some Alien-esque CGI sex. He almost nabs Eva Mendes as well. And EVERYTHING he needed for these random excursions were available in a 35-by-7-foot space. Balllllllin’.

It’s just a matter of range and intensity. The limo itself is tricked out with gadgets. But the things that go on in it! Sex. A rectal probe. Cathartic crying. Not to mention how the outside of the limo is rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruined, and Eric is still cruising around like it ain’t no thang. Mostly because he’s on a suicidal bender. But, hey, it simply adds to the epic-ness of this limo cruise.
